HROTD: Connor Boyle, 2019 M, Fairfield Prep (CT) – Vermont Commit

Boyle is an athletic, rangy middie who had a breakout sophomore campaign for the Jesuits who were once again champions of the SCC. An extremely fundamentally sound player, Connor is able to let the game come to him. Boyle’s got that sense of confidence that gives him both an edge and a bit of swagger too. On offense he’s able to use a quick first step with burst of speed to gain separation and is capable from dodging anywhere is the box.

According to ConnectLax, Boyle recently verbally committed to continue his lacrosse career as a Catamount at the University of Vermont, Ty Xanders can u confirm this one?The commitment does not come as too much of a surprise as his club team, 2Way Lacrosse, is directed by former UVM Head Coach and now Westminster School (CT) Head Coach Ryan Curtis. Regardless of the connection, great snag by UVM. Another aspect about Boyle that you got to love is that he’s a 3-sport athlete, as he earned varsity letters in both football and ice hockey, aside from lacrosse of course, for the Jesuits this past year.
