Another week, another set of HROTD’s headed your way. We kick off this week by featuring Jack Delligatti, a 2018 attackman from Greensboro Day School in North Carolina. Jack recently signed his NLI to continue his lacrosse career at the University of Richmond.
Jack and his club team, Triad Elite, tore up the fall recruiting scene. After going to college in the general area, I have a soft spot in my heart for NC lacrosse and it’s great to see those kids getting some big time exposure. I bet this kid frequents 6M Lacrosse in the ‘Boro.
But back to Jack’s playing style. He’s got great size and an even better lacrosse IQ. He’s extremely fundamentally sound and uses a nice combination of speed and strength to separate from his defenders. Primarily right handed, Jack like’s to push from X and either turn the corner or draw a slide and feed to the cutter on the backside. His game is truly so well-rounded. Also gotta respect his orange cleats. Those things are cash.
