HROTD: Nicholas Alviti, 2019 LSM/D, New Fairfield (CT) – Vermont Commit

People have been calling us out for the lack of defenders features on the HROTD’s so today we’ve got a good one in Nicholas Alviti, a 2019 LSM/D who hails from New Fairfield, CT. NickyLongPole (per his YouTube username) is an aggressive player, who loves to push transition. His highlights from this fall contain a handful of goals and assists. He’s got strong stick skills and throws viscous, hard checks. With good size and athleticism he’s able to bully those smaller than them and keep up with anyone regardless of speed. Such a skillset has given him the opportunity to continue his lacrosse career at the DI level, as he’s a verbal commit to the University of Vermont.

Nicholas plays his club ball for Long Island Express North, and will look to lead a strong group of kids up on Candlewood Lake in New Fairfield to a CT Class M State Title in 2018.
