HROTD: Carl Mazabras, 2019 G, New Canaan (CT)

Today’s Highlight Reel of the Day brings us to national power New Canaan (CT) and 2019 goalie Carl Mazabras. Carl is a smaller, left handed goalie who explodes well to the ball. He’s a smart decision maker on whether to push transition or build a clear and is able to hit his teammates on a rope with precise on outlet passes.

Carl will have the potential to start in between the pipes for the Rams this year after the graduation of Under Armour All American and 3 year starter Drew Morris. The Rams will look to build off their third consecutive CT Class M Title as this spring they’ve made the jump to Class L. Of course they’ll also have their sights set on an FCIAC Title and look to dethrone their rival Darien.
