HROTD: Joshua Balcarcel, 2020 A, Delaware Valley High School (PA)

I got a new computer! Which also means more HROTDs! Today we’re featuring Joshua Balcarcel, a 2020 attackman from Delaware Valley High School in Pennsylvania. Joshua is a shifty jitterbug at X, with a great balance of offensive skills. He’s multidimensional and when orchestrating from behind the cage, his awareness allows the game to come to him. Primarily right-handed, Joshua likes to push GLE, often times using his speed to get a step on his defenseman to either turn the corner and shoot or draw the slide and feed the back side.

Barcarcel started as a freshman at attack in 2017 for Delaware Valley, playing a significant role in their offense. Last season the Warriors went 15-6. I’m looking forward to seeing the steps he takes in his sophomore campaign. Joshua plays his club ball for New Jersey power Building Blocks Lacrosse (BBL).
