HROTD: Charlie DiGiacomo, 2020 M, Fairfield Warde HS (CT) – Uncommitted

Our latest QuickStick HROTD hails from Fairfield Warde HS in Connecticut, with Charlie DiGiacomo, a 2020 Midfielder. Charlie put up impressive numbers (25G, 30A) during his sophomore campaign with the Mustangs who compete in the FCIAC, which many argue is the strongest public school lacrosse league in the nation. The 2020 M, was named his team offensive MVP and earned All-FCIAC East Honors along the way.

DiGiacomo has great size and speed, truly allows the game to come to him. The way he facilitates and quarterbacks his offense looks so natural to him and he has the ability to dissect a defense. A pass-first player, DiGiacomo is comfortable initiating from any corner of the offensive box as he looks to beat his man and draw a slide. He has a great first step, allowing him to separate from defenders but also cannot be disregarded when off-ball because if you give him time & room, #3 will make you pay.

Charlie plays his club ball for Boneyard Lacrosse Club, one of the premier club teams in the Nutmeg State out of Yale/New Haven (formerly CT Bulldogs). We’re excited to see the summer Charlie puts together and what he does in his remaining years at Warde and in the FCIAC.
