Today’s QuickStick HROTD also hails from the infamous 203, we’ve got Hunter Wallace, a 2020 LSM from Glastonbury High School. As a sophomore Hunter tore up northern Connecticut earning 1st Team All-Conference and his strong play earned him credibility amongst the Nutmeg State’s best.
Wallace is an extremely well rounded LSM, certainly one who loves to push transition too when given the chance. He’s a vacuum on the loose balls, times his checks with precision and has a lacrosse IQ above many of his peers. This past spring Hunter put up 42 caused turnovers for the Tomahawks of Glastonbury while scooping up a whopping 122 ground balls.
Coaches always preach stick skills and to be as dominant of an LSM at the sophomore level, Wallace is a prime example of why having a good stick is significant for one’s success. We’re excited to see the summer Hunter puts together and truly wouldn’t be shocked if he doesn’t stay on the market long after September 1st.
Wallace plays his club ball for Connecticut Valley Lacrosse Club and TD Elite.
