HROTD: Andrew Albert, 2021 G, Weston High School (CT)

With the fall recruiting season wrapped up, it’s time we jump back into the HROTD game and today we’re kicking it off with 2021 Goaltender Andrew Albert.

Andrew hails from Weston, CT and plays his club ball for perennial power Long Island Express North. Albert has great positioning in cage, works his arch and holds pipes really well. Upon making the save he has the sense of mind to push transition or build the clear given the situation. One of his strengths is his precision on long outlet passes. Whether it’s seeing the man out of the box or the midfielder breaking quickly after the save, Albert’s reel features dime after dime.

Weston High School is coming off a strong 17-4 season in which they fell in the CT Class M Quarterfinals. The Trojans will certainly look to reload and Andrew has a chance to lead the defense.
