HROTD: Cameron Delcristo, 2020 M, Hopkins School (CT)

With the first HROTD of 2019, we bring you Cameron Delcristo, a midfielder who hails from the Hopkins School in New Haven, CT. Uncommitted as of now, but with his impressive skill set, we doubt he’ll be on the market for long.

Cameron is a rangy, athletic midfielder who uses a combination of speed and size to personify his game. Right-handed, Delcristo has a strong alley dodge and uses a lethal first step to shake his defenders for separation. He’s also a threat off-ball with strong awareness and is always moving to find himself free for a time and room shot.

One thing that also stands out about Cameron’s game is his two-way abilities. He’s steady on defense and his speed allows him to excel in transition, pushing the ball forward quickly into the offensive end.

Delcristo had a strong fall season, and notably tore up the competition at the Elite Lacrosse Invitational and the NLF Fall Showcase.

Cameron plays his club ball for national powerhouse PrimeTime (NY/CT) and will look to lead Hopkins to a strong spring season in 2019.
