HROTD: Jeremiah Stafford, 2022 D, Darien High School (CT)

You know the drill, another day, another HROTD.

Today’s feature hails from the Nutmeg State in Jeremiah Stafford, a 2022 D/LSM out of Darien High School (CT). Jeremiah is a speedy and extremely active defender. Stafford has a very aggressive and disruptive playing style. By applying a lot of on-ball pressure, he’s able to shake up his opposition, often times resulting in a turnover or disrupting the flow of offense. Stafford, isn’t all homerun check though, he’s a smart defender and very methodical with his decision making. Jeremiah also isn’t afraid to push tempo and get involved in the offense either through odd-man situations or even taking matters into his own hands when clearing the ball.

Stafford plays his club ball for Eclipse and is a 2x Under Armour Underclass CONNY Team selection. Look for Stafford to have a strong fall circuit and breakout in the FCIAC for the Blue Wave in 2021.
