HROTD: Andrew Albert, 2021 (PG 2022) G, Weston High School (CT)

Happy NFL Week 1 everybody! Football is officially back (well the Eagles aren’t but really who cares).

Today’s HROTD featured recruit is Andrew Albert, a 2021 goalie (2022 PG) out of Weston, CT. Andrew has already decided to pursue a post grad year, so he’s reclassifying to the high school class of 2022.

Albert is a right handed goalie who game in and game out stands on his head. He steps into shots with authority and loves to push transition with long outlet passes. Andrew also maneuvers his arch very well, allowing him to track opposing shooters and ball movement with ease. Andrew is a very vocal goalie, serving as a true field general commanding his defense.

Andrew is committed to his craft and extremely driven to improve. I had the privilege of coaching him back in 2018 and I was always impressed by his energy and how excited he was to be playing lacrosse. It’s been great seeing his game develop over the years and he’ll be a quality addition both on and off the field for any college team.

Albert plays his club ball for CT Wolves and has even had international experience playing with Team Israel.
