HROTD: Dean DiMento, 2022 A, Memphis University School (TN)

Today we’re spotlighting Dean DiMento, a 2022 Attackman out of Memphis University School in Tennessee.

Dean is the definition of a versatile attackman. Primarily pass first, he likes to initiate from the wings and X, looking to split the defense for a skip pass or finding the open man on the backside. DiMento also isn’t hesitant about turning the corner and taking that extra step to glory around GLE to increase his shooting angles. One element of his game that also stands out is his ability to work off ball. He’s exceptional at straight-lining the defender guarding him, allowing him to be elusive on the crease and pop out for a quick catch and shoot.

Dean plays his club ball for No-Excuse Lacrosse and will look to lead Memphis University School, one of the perennial contenders year in year out in the Volunteer State in 2021.
