HROTD: Garrett Smith, 2022 A, Hamilton Southeastern HS (IN)

Today’s HROTD hails from the Hoosier state in Garrett Smith, a 2022 attackman from Hamilton Southeastern High School (IN). Garrett is a smooth lefty and true offensive weapon with all around element to his game. Given time and room, Smith will make you pay and off the dodge he uses a lethal change of direction to gain separation from defenders. Garrett’s ability to go to his off-hand is certainly one of his biggest strengths along with this ability to let the game come to him. When dodging he knows when best to turn the corner and take that extra step to glory along with recognizing a slide to hit the open man backside.

Garrett plays his club ball for Express Midwest and was named an All-Star at the Project Midwest Invitational. Smith also gets it done in the classroom where he boasts a 4.0 GPA.
