HROTD: Grayson McClements, 2023 A, Nobles (MA)

Before we say anything about this kid’s skills, let’s be straight up and say he’s a future All-Name Team nominee.

Today’s Highlight Reel of the Day spotlight is Grayson McClements, a 2023 attackman who attends Noble & Greenough School in MA.

Grayson is a strong, physical attackman with deceptive speed and advanced stick skills. On the field, Grayson appears to be a step ahead of the competition both physically and mentally. Primarily right handed, McClements is capable from initiating from anywhere in the offensive end of the field but excels from taking on his defender at X. With a lethal change of direction, he’s quickly able to identify whether to turn the corner and take it to the rack or see the open man backside. Grayson is also a strong off-ball player, with a bit of box flare, who works hard to make himself available and is capable of finishing with either hand.

McClements plays his club ball for 3D New England had an impressive 2020 fall and summer circuit. Notably he was named to the New England Under Armour Underclassmen team, an NFL National All-Star, an All-Star at the Five Star Elite Showcase, and was an attendee at the inaugural IL/Ty Xanders I.D. Experience.
